I don’t remember exactly how I used it, but I did use the leaflet as guide. I think like once or twice a day, before bed time and maybe in the morning. I think I washed my face with a face wash before applying Soolantra, to increase skin contact with Soolantra.
After how many days it gets better?
So you think it’s not demodex bites?
Your doctor, dermatologist, or pharmacist should’ve given you instructions; but it’s generally 1x a day in the evening.
I just used water to clean my face b/c it’s sensitive to cleansers & cleaners. If your face can tolerate it, a mild cleanser + Soolantra should be fine.
It can take 4-8 weeks to see effects. The first 1-4 weeks you may see your face become worse as it adjusts and the demodex “die off”
Before yellow crusts the pimple is red and inflamed. Than after the pimple begin to have yellow fluid. Is that the same what the people have on this forum. Doctor takes culture but its not stafylococcn
@Karen yes that sounds similar. But just to be clear, the fluid looks clear when it oozes and then forms into a yellow crust.
Yes the fluid is clear and after its yellow crust.
And they itch little bit before they come out
@Karen it sounds like you have the same condition. Soolantra will most likely resolve it.
Apply it just once per day and you don’t need to apply much. I usually apply it after showering. I do wash my face with soap in the shower. Then I very gently pat it dry and apply the soolantra with a small pea sized amount on forehead, both cheeks, nose and chin avoiding eyes and mouth. Then gently spread and massage with fingertips until absorbed. Things may get worse initially but just continue for at least 6 weeks. You will start to see changes and then improvement. I’m so glad you finally managed to get Soolantra.
Thanks for your answer. It means a lot for me.
