I was affected with this yellow/orange scab like thing and it was terrible. It occurred on my chin and on my nose and WOULD NOT GO AWAY. I made a visit to a local clinic and they said it was a minor staph infection and gave me ointment to apply. After applying for not even a week the horrible scabs that had been affecting me for months were gone. I hope this helps.
