Those of you who’ve tried soolantra, do you believe it works because it kills of demodex or simply because of its anti inflammatory effects? I’ve seen some of y’all say that the soolantra has stopped your yellow crusty lesions but you still experience non oozing lesions. This makes me curious if the soolantra is truly fixing the root of the issue or just reducing inflammation. Any thoughts?
Im using zoryve (anti inflammatory) which accomplishes the same thing for me (get lesions but usually don’t ooze/crust anymore). I also have staph on my face (not aureus, a different strain) however its such a tiny amount based on my pcr test. Antibiotics (three courses) have not worked so far though maybe I have not found the right one yet. I am allergic to dustmites which i believe would make me more sensitive to demodex but idk. I don’t want to try soolantra and just be disappointed again or not fix the root cause.
