Long story short, I took like 15 weeks of Doxy, Bactrim for a week, Keflex for a week, went through bottles of Muciprocin, tried a hydrocortisone cream. Went to an infectious doctor (because every doctor I saw said impetigo) and washed pretty much my whole body with antibacterial wash. Antibacterial mouthwash. Antifungal pills. Nothing worked. So they put me on IV Daptomycin antibiotics. They did nothing. This thing had a mind of it’s own. My skin culture’s from the derm were confusing. I took 4. The first one (back in March) said staph. The next two said normal skin bacteria (yet they were taken from fresh blisters). The last one said heavy growth serratia. So bizarre. Did a biopsy as well. I learned nothing from it. It came back as “eczema” and “gram positive bacteria”. I don’t have eczema. My skin isn’t dry. And then I found this amazing forum. I’ve been using Ivermectin 1% cream for less than two weeks and this is the best my skin has felt and looked in forever. No blisters. No crusts. Nothing. Not even a pimple. I am soooooooooooooooooo grateful for this forum. If your skin looks like the photos in the “what does it look like?” tab PLEASE GET IVERMECTIN 1% CREAM!!!

This warms my heart. Sooo pleased for you. We have @Tso to thank for this. Must be about 10 years since Tso set this site up for this distressing condition that the medical profession seem to be completely stumped by. We’ll all be eternally grateful to you, @Tso! Yet another success story.
