Sudocrem is a brand. It’s available in Canada and a number of European countries, but not in the US. (Maybe it is via eBay.) Sudocrem contains zinc zoxide as main ingredient, but also some other ingredients. It’s unclear which ingredient is responsible for the possitive effects. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sudocrem

I did use another zinc oxide product in the past, but didn’t noticed improvements. But I didn’t use it as extensively as I did with Sudocrem. But if possible, it is probably the safest to stick with Sudocrem, because ingredients can differ.
It’s often used as skin product for baby’s to treat nappy rash.
But for the face, it’s a difficult product, because:
- it’s very visible to other people when you use it with the amounts that I used, so you have to stay at home or use it in the evening.
- it’s difficult to wash of the face. So you have to use a facial cleanser, or as recommended by @DubTyp an oil cleanser.
- My skin gets irritated after some time when using it. Some area’s get a bit red, and gives an irritated feeling. It can also clog pores and cause acne.
